Aims & Objectives

Our principal objective is ~

To offer an environment where privacy, dignity, independence, freedom of choice and self esteem is encouraged and respected. This is achieved by ongoing training for staff, liasing with specialist healthcare professionals/groups and planned activities such as Reality Orientation, Rememiscence and Validation therapy.

We practice holistic care planning and encourage the involvement of family and friends to further this aim.

We also operate a long established and efficient key worker system

All staff are expected and encouraged to undertake NVQ and various other training.

Our manager Pauline Barnes is CSS trained and has over 20 years of experience of working with the elderly.

Deputy manager Kathy Merrett is trained to NVQ level 4

The resident proprietors are Pauline & Tony Barnes.
